Independence Home Healthcare, Inc. is a provider of comprehensive home health services to private individuals, insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, hospitals, nursing homes, board and care facilities and case managers.
In addition to providing health care to home-bound adults and the elderly, Independence Home Healthcare, Inc. provides innovative, safe and compassionate Pediatric Specific Skilled Nursing Services for Newborn, up to 21 years of age. Each member of our Nursing Staff undergoes extensive testing and orientation with another trained nurse and the child's parents before being assigned to work independently with the child.
Pre-employment background check, reference check and passing the IHHCI pediatric exam are all required before employment.
Nursing shifts for our patients can range from 1 to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as ordered by the child's physician. There is always a member of our scheduling staff and a Nursing Supervisor on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including Holidays.
